The idea factory (still sorting out the name,) team gathered again today to discuss action items and interests related to our amplified collaboration ambitions. Aside from the fun social scene, we covered the following points:
1. We'd like to have our 100 idea quota met by Wednesday, with Alvis and I (and others...) dragging out about 10 ideas we could use as teasers for the Meetup crowd on Friday.
2. We discussed the technology involved, and although we don't have any milestones mapped yet, we have an idea of the technology resources required.
3. We registered the domain "dearidea.com" to facilitate the email submission component. Andy is building that system this week.
One of the tougher challenges in open projects is maintaining enthusiasm. I think getting together for beer and food is one excellent way to accomplish this.
